The Economic Opportunity Authority will celebrate its 41st MLKing, Jr. Program at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the EOA Multipurpose Room, 1120 May Street in Savannah. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Adam Solender, Executive Director of the Jewish Education Alliance. Adam Solender has been the Executive Director of the Jewish Educational Alliance and Savannah Jewish Federation since 2007. the centerpiece of the Jewish community encompassing social services, fundraising, advocacy on a wide range of social issues, health & wellness, cultural, and educational programs that serve the entire Savannah community “from cradle to grave.” He is a great believer in dialogue between differing religious and ethnic groups for the betterment of all people.

The 2013 Honorees are Rev. Pickens A. Patterson (posthumously); Mrs. Frances Bright Johnson; Mr. David Rosenweig (posthumously); and the Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance.
