At Savannah Technical College, business leaders are stepping forward to offer an EMPLOYMENT EMPOWERMENT EXPO, April 21 from 8:15 – 11:30 AM in the Eckburg Auditorium on the college’s Savannah Campus, 5717 White Bluff Road. (poster attached)
The Expo, sponsored by the Business and Administrative Technology Advisory Committee, brings five top-notch speakers to campus on the following schedule:
8:15 Welcome ; 8:30 Elizabeth Concepcion, Director of Operations and Clients Services, Chatham Capital Group, Inc. “Directions to a Career: First Impressions Count”; 9:00 Wade Herring, Partner, Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. “How Your Past Affects Your Future” ; 9:30 Earl Berksteiner, Career Advisor, Georgia Department of Labor, “Employment Resources”; 10:15 Break; 10:30 Brynn Grant, Executive Director, The Creative Coast Alliance and VP of Marketing, Savannah Economic Development Authority, “New Industries, New Businesses, New Opportunities in Savannah”; 11:00 Saralyn Argrow, Executive Director, AWWIN, “YOU CAN DO IT! Conquering Your Fear of (Re)Entering the Workforce”
