Education And Health Summit


 
 

Saturday, March 22, 2014 a Education and Health Summit will be held at 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m at the Coastal Georgia Center located at 305 Famhm St. The focus of this summit will be the presentation of relevant research and scientific data pertaining to the process of learning and neurological factors that impact the learning process. Attendees will learn how health issues impact student’s learning and given keys to developing teaching/learning strategies that work for these students.

Registration is $25 for the all-day event. Inclusive of lunch and free membership to the American Physiological Medicine and Dentistry

Featured speakers will be David Boulton: Founder and Director of Learning Stewards, Dr. Stephen

Sheldon, DO, FAAP: professor of Pediatrics, Northwestern University School of Medicine and Dr. Philip W. Cooper: Director of “The Equipoise Project.”
