The Hungry Club Forum of Savannah, Inc. (HCFS) will host its monthly, Signature Roundtable and Open Forum issues breakfast, on Saturday January 6, 2018, in the Multipurpose Room of the Main Building of the West Broad Street YMCA, located at 1110 May Street, at 9:30 AM.
Francys Johnson is a leading civil rights attorney and the former State President of the Georgia NAACP. A noted lawyer, pastor and educator: Johnson has taught courses on Race and the Law, the Civil Rights Movement, Constitutional Law, Policing, and Criminal Law. He continues to lecture and write on the concepts of race, equity, and power in public policy. He is married to Dr. Meca Williams-Johnson, an educational psychologist with three children: Thurgood Marshall Joshua, Frederick Douglass Caleb, and Langston Hughes Elijah.
The HCFS is a public forum for increasing the awareness of educational, community economic development and heritage preservation and cultural enrichment issues and other topics of importance to the growth and progress of the community, and for generating dialogue and the exchange of ideas and information.
