American Diabetes Association presents Diabetes Exposed on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at The Coastal Georgia Center for Continuing Education (305 Fahm Street), for all people affected by diabetes. Doors will open at 8:00am with three sessions and a keynote presentation by Brittany Freeman, Southeast Advocacy Director for the American Diabetes Association, who will be talking about diabetes and the Affordable Care Act.
Diabetes Exposed is a half-day educational program designed to educate all people affected by this disease. The program is recommended for people with pre-diabetes, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, as well as family and friends of people with diabetes who have a desire to learn more about managing this common and serious disease.
Diabetes Exposed is open to the public, and there is a $5 charge to attend.
