Community Involvement and Our Schools

Women at the Table ( WATT)
 
 

Michael O’Neal, Executive Director of Parent University will join Women At The Table as their special guest Sunday, May 7th. The program is centered on our youth in underperforming schools and how we as a community can more helpful. The WATT program will be held at AMF Bowling Lanes, 115 Tibet Ave beginning at 5:00pm.

As Executive Director of a community collaborative that supports families and encourages parent involvement and participation in the education of our community’s children and youth, Mr. O’Neal brings loads of experience and knowledge to help the community engage in ways to better serve and help the underperforming schools and our youth excel. On April 19, WATT held a power packed program with Dr. Ann Levett, Deputy Superintendent of schools that focused on a Futuristic View of Our Schools-Problems, Solutions, and Leadership. Parents, grand-parents, teachers and the community as a whole are invited to come join WATT to listen, learn and be a part of the solution.
