Clifton Baptist Church Announces Installation Services for Pastor-elect Craig L. Daughtry

 
 

It is with great joy that we announce the installation of Reverend Craig L. Daughtry as Pastor-elect of Clifton Baptist Church. We rejoice that the Lord has sent Pastor-elect Daughtry to us and we are excited about our mission “To Make Disciples of Men.”

A Savannah native, Rev. Daughtry is the son of Julie D. Smalls and Pastor Alexander Heyward. He graduated from Sol. C. Johnson High in 1989 and from Savannah State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He furthered his education at Armstrong Atlantic State University and was certified to teach secondary mathematics; received a Masters in Education from Troy State University in 2006; and obtained his certificate in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University in 2008. He received his Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University in 2012. He is currently employed with the Savannah– Chatham County Board of Education as the Principal of Southwest Middle School.

Rev. Daughtry was licensed to preach the Gospel on September 14, 1995 and ordained on September 24, 2000. He obtained a Master’s in Ministry from New Generation Institute of Biblical Studies and Theological Seminary in 2007. Elder Daughtry previously served as Executive Pastor and Chief of Operation for the New Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Pastor-elect Daughtry and his lovely wife Monica, have three beautiful children, Janae, Jasmine, and Craig Jr.

Join us in praise, worship, and celebration at Clifton Baptist, 100 Big Hill Road, Garden City, GA on Sunday, March 24th, at 5:00 p.m. for Pastor-elect Daughtry’s Installation. The installation message will be delivered by Bishop Norris D. Darden, Jr. of New Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church.

The congregation looks forward to Pastor-elect Daughtry sharing his vision, knowledge and experiences with the church and also with the surrounding community as we embark on this faith-filled journey.
