The Chatham Retired Educators Association (CREA) held its final meeting for the year on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Carey Hilliard’s Restaurant on Abercorn Street. Plans have been finalized for the Georgia Retired Educators Association (GREA) conference which will be held in Macon, GA on May 8-10, 2018. The second Dewey Lee Scholarship was awarded to Nicquayla Shields, a Junior from Savannah State University. She will use the scholarship to further their post-secondary education.

CREA was saddened by the sudden passing of our devoted member Mrs. Greer Brown Reese in March. She was a faithful member of the Public Relations Team and the State Photography Staff. She will be truly missed!
