The Chatham County Democratic Committee requests your presence at the 2014 “Toby” Buttimer Awards Dinner. Join us Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah Ballroom. Pre-Dinner Reception begins at 6pm and dinner at 7pm. The keynote speaker will be Gubernatorial Candidate Sen. Jason Carter.

The Buttimer Dinner is the premiere service recognition and fundraiser for the local Democratic party, through the Chatham County Democratic Committee (CCDC). The dinner, established in 1987, is

named after Patrick “Toby” Buttimer: a patriarch of Savannah’s Irish Catholic community, Grand Marshall of Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 1949, and longtime Chair of the CCDC. Toby dedicated 70 years of his life to the goals and candidates of the Democratic Party. It is in that spirit, the committee continues to honor exceptional Democrats, for their outstanding work in the community.
