Mammograms

Chatham County Health Department provides breast and cervical cancer screening through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.

Memorial University Medical Center: To schedule a mammogram, call 912-350-PINK (7465). To contact the Breast Imaging Center, call 912-350- 5101.

The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion (LCRP) at St. Joseph’s/ Candler: To schedule a mammogram at any one of our convenient locations, please call us at 912-819-6800 or toll-free at 800-395-7873.

Local Support Groups

Sisters Network: is a national organization that is committed to increasing local and national attention to the devastating impact that breast cancer has on the African American community. Young Survival Coalition: The meetings are open to breast cancer patients and their caregivers in the greater Savannah, Hilton Head and Coastal Georgia area. The meetings often have special presentations from the local medical community, are informal and conducted in a discussion type format to encourage the participation by all in attendance.
