Grand opening planned at new center site on April 13th BioLife Plasma Services announced today that they are opening the doors of their new plasma donation center in the Savannah area on Saturday, April 13. This opening will further expand BioLife’s presence in the area, employ 20-40 members of the community and advance efforts to support patients who rely on the life-changing therapies processed from donated human plasma.
“BioLife’s new Savannah center marks our continued commitment to serving the larger Georgia community, as well as the patients who rely on plasma to survive,” said Shana Foshe, center manager of the new Savannah location. “By donating, you will not only be compensated for your time, but you’ll also have a direct impact on patients’ lives.”
The grand opening of the new center is scheduled for Saturday, April 13 from 11am to 5pm ET at 3603 Ogeechee Road. The new state-of-the-art facility will provide the same benefits found at other BioLife locations, such as access to free Wi-Fi, a free supervised playroom for donors’ children, and a clean, professional, smoke-free facility.
To help protect the safety of the donor and the recipients of the therapies processed from their plasma, prospective donors must first pass a medical examination and complete a medical history survey. Donors are financially compensated for their time and commitment to the program.
