Bethesda Academy, an award-winning school for boys in grades six through twelve, recently received a $3,300 donation from AT&T to support ongoing programs for students.
Gary Sanchez, director of external affairs with AT&T, presented the check to Bethesda Academy president David Tribble at a special check presentation on the Bethesda campus on December 13.
“We’re delighted to support Bethesda Academy,” Sanchez explained. “This school is changing lives and making a positive impact in our community. At AT&T, we want to recognize and applaud organizations like Bethesda Academy that help make Savannah a better place for everyone.”
Bethesda Academy features a blended learning curriculum designed specifically around the ways boys learn most effectively, providing a supportive environment for a diverse student population. The school offers a wildlife management program, an on-site video production studio, an organic farming program and a nationally ranked chess team.
“We appreciate AT&T’s generous donation and support of our student programs,” said Bethesda Academy president David Tribble. “This donation will help make a real difference for our students.”
