AARP Tax-Aide Provides Free Tax Assistance and Preparation


This year, AARP Foundation is again providing free tax preparation assistance and efiling of both federal and state returns for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Tax-Aide program. AARP Tax-Aide, in its 44rd year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to people over age 60. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service. This free service is being offered at the following locations in your area from Feb. 5-April 12th during the days and times noted: Live Oak Public Library-2002 Bull ST. Tuesday-Thursday from 10am- 3pm Live Oak Public Library-SW Chatham Branch-14097 Abercorn ST.
