A Celebration Of Love Concert To Benefit Park Place Outreach

The Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter announces their Celebration of Love event, an evening of jazz, auctions, dinner and entertainment, taking place Friday, Feb. 6 in celebration of the organization’s 31 year anniversary.

The evening will start at 6 p.m. at the Plantation Club of the Landings. Individual seats are $125; a table of 10 is $1150. In addition, the organization is promoting five sponsorship levels, including diamond, platinum, gold, silver and bronze, through which companies and individuals are able to support this local youth shelter.

Guests will enjoy an incredible evening of music performed by Joe Gransden, who has preformed worldwide and released 14 CDs. He is known for the hard “bop” approach of his trumpet and his sultry voice. For background information on Gransden and to hear some of his music, visit www.joegransden.com/live

There will be a silent auction, listing items such as a SEC Championship package for Atlanta in December including roundtrip air, pre game party and tickets from Dr. Pepper. Please contact Jack Levine, the board president of Park Place Outreach, if you are interested in donating auction items. Levine can be reached atlevine9115@gmail.com. Beginning January 16, individuals will be able to check out and bid early on auction items at parkplaceyes.org.

Last year through sponsorship support, Park Place was able to raise $48,500. This year’s sponsors include: O.C. Welch and Gulfstream. To purchase tickets for this event, individuals are asked to call Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter at 912- 234-4048.
