58th Annual Brothers and Sisters Day Celebration

The First African Baptist Church of East Savannah, 402 Treat Avenue, will celebrate their ‘Brothers and Sisters’ Day on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Our theme is: Moving Forward.

Services will begin with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. The celebration continues with our morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Clarence James Washington, Jr. as our guest messenger.

Mr. Washington is a graduate of Albany State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education and a minor in Political Science. He is a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Masters in School Counseling and is currently pursuing his Education Specialist degree in School Counselor Education from Fort Valley State University.

Mr. Washington is a Gates Millenium Scholar and is currently matriculating through the Leadership GA program. Mr. Washington is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Mr. Washington is an active member of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church in Patterson, GA where he serves as Youth Director and Church Administrator. He lives his life by the scripture Luke 12:48, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.”

Please come and worship with us in our Brothers and Sisters Day Celebration, as we lift up the name of Jesus.
