Rice Creek School, 100 Mulberry Avenue, Port Wentworth is excited to host its 2nd Annual Cardinal
Run 5k and kids run on October 14, 2017. The 5K – 7:45am; Carnival – 10am to 2pm. The event goal is to raise money for the school while promoting community involvement and exercise. Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of outdoor equipment, resources and furnishings that will promote a healthy outdoor experience for the students of Rice Creek School.
CARNIVAL OPTION: The Fall Festival will have attractions, bounce equipment, dunk tank, food and more. Wristbands are for children only, and are $20 per band. One wristband includes: unlimited bouncing, one free popcorn and a slice of pizza. In addition there will be food for all for purchase, a silent auction and so much more. You can purchase a wrist band from the STORE or you can purchase one at a discount with your race registration. Parking for the race will be available at designated locations at the Rice Hope Community Amenities Center, courtesy of Village Park Homes and in the Publix Shopping Center Parking Lot. During the Fall Festival the school parking lots will be available for additional parking. No off street parking will be allowed during event. Race volunteers will be assisting with parking.
The first male and female finishers get an award for the kids runs! The age groups for the 5K are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20- 29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up.
