Former Tiger Running Back Dies

Former Savannah State football player John Moses King has died. King, 74, died at his home on December 20. The Savannah native was a running back at SSU from 1955-58 and made the All-SEAC team as a senior. Savannah Fire Receives Port Security Grants

SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah Fire & Emergency Services has been able to tap into federal funding to enhance the department’s Hazmat capabilities. SFES is the recipient of two grants totaling $273,000.
